Ephemeral Frame
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Ephemeral Frame is a short (~30 min) exploration/puzzle game spanning an assortment of dreamscapes interconnected by picture frames, posters, movies, and other imagery.
Entering inside these frames can bring you anywhere from the
moody downtown cityscapes to intergalactic outposts.
Seek out the fragments of a once complete photograph to find some kind of escape from this web of dreams.

This was a phenomenal half hour of gaming. I loved Viewfinder, and it does not diminish that game or this one to consider them in the same breath.
Hoping to expand that into a couple hours of gaming in the future if I'm lucky, Thank you!
when da ratfish eat da big pizza do they become pizza shaped??
COOL
It’s an amazing work... The ultimate luxury is being able to explore so many unique and diverse worlds at such a fast pace.
The flow from the slightly tutorial-like area with the first stage to bursting out into the world, the four distinctive concerts, the sci-fi themed locations, the very scary horror world, and the refreshing outdoors with a view to the horizon—everything was perfect.
And the final ending, which summarizes the entire journey, really touched my heart.
In other words, this work is my favorite, meow~!🐱
Personally, though, I wish I hadn’t switched into “get through it faster” mode because I got scared by the horror parts, which meant I couldn’t fully soak in the experience as I was rushing to clear it.
That’s how incredible the atmosphere was, nya!
Thank you for the kind words!
What a fantastic game. I only wish it was a little longer, but if the worst thing I can say about it is that it left me wanting more, that's a pretty good sign.
Linux version works great on POP! OS.
Glad that build seems to have worked, I never played it myself haha. Hoping to expand this into a full game so there will be more!
Nice! Looking forward to it.
is there any chance I can find all the 4 concert music? awesome game, btw. ✌️
Thanks! and definitely, which ones are you missing/have found?
Will probably add some more ways to get them in the future.
Whats the theatre/concert area based on?? It looks a lot like the Rickshaw in Vancouver
That's because it is!
Rio,rickshaw, Canada Post vans, uncle Fatih pizza. I probably missed other stuff.
huh, came across this on reddit a few days ago and just stumbled across it now browsing through things. Nice job!
Haven't played this yet, watched Vinny played this, but damn if this isn't good enough proof that F-STOP would have been good, maybe even as a Portal 3 but as a standalone thing, then I don't know what is.
epic haken reference 10/10
That looks amazing. It must have taken you ages to create all those 3D environments?
Thanks! Yeah this was a pretty art heavy game, although the majority of it was actually done in the last month of the jam. Was definitely a long month!
Where is the concert ticket for Actual Aliens? I'm having trouble finding it.
You can get there from one of the tables in the starbase (there's another spot too but this one is easier to describe)
This is amazing
Very nice concept & execution! Linux version works here, thank you for providing it!
Awesome, thank you!
cool !!!!
